Rachel With An E Travels – Krakow, Poland.

 

A few months before Christmas 2016 my boyfriend and I decided to go somewhere different for impending thirtieth birthday. I say impending with a light heart as thirty isn’t all that different from twenty-nine at all. We looked at Copenhagen. Too dear. We looked at western Europe. Already been there. Then we looked at eastern Europe. And bam! we found the place we wanted to go to: Krakow, Poland.

An Irish Country Garden – Rowallane Gardens.

I’ve been on another road trip. This time to Rowallane Gardens near Saintfield, County Down that is run by the National Trust. Rowallane has some of the most beautiful scenery and gardens that I’ve ever seen and certainly one of the best under the Trust’s care. Come for a walk with me as we explore an Irish country garden….

Move Your Body

The title for this blog post sounds really cheesy, like 1980s terrible pop ballad cheesy. BUT there is a purpose for the cheesy title- I really love to excercise or ‘move my body’ if you’re that way inclined. I may be a vintage-wearing, cat-loving crazy knitting lady but I can lift weights with the best of them and walk for miles and miles.
