For the past ten years I have worked for various museums and heritage institutions across the UK and Ireland in varying roles a visitor guide with front of house teams to an assistant archivist and curator behind the scenes in museums. I have worked for The Northern Ireland War Memorial, Imperial War Museums, Titanic Belfast, The National Trust, Marks & Spencer Company Archive, The HMS Caroline and The National Trust for Scotland.
My experience as a museum professional combined with my role as a researcher, blogger and curator has afforded me extensive an expert array of skills in curation, exhibition development, object research and interpretation, writing and disseminating knowledge and professional training. As I hope to move towards a freelance mode of working check back regularly to see how my skills are developing as a museum professional and contact me if you think my skills could fit your museum or project.
