Marchioness of Londonderry, President of War Services Legion

Lady Londonderry, formerly the Hon. Edith Chaplin, pictured in 1918 when she was President of the Women’s War Services Legion (previously known as the Women’s Legion) which provided military cooks and motor drivers for the War Office. She was awarded the Order of the Dame of the British Empire for her work during the war. Date: 1918
